Treatment Methods Utilized by Facial Kinetics

EPAT Pulsed Waves

Shock Wave Therapy: Newest form of treatment that delivers acoustic high energy waves that accelerate tissue repair, new blood vessel formation, increase collagen production, decrease pain, and release trigger points.

-Ultra-Sound: Used to break up scar tissue deep adhesions

Manual Muscle Therapy: Used to decrease intensity of trigger points leading to eventual elimination by breaking muscle knots to increase blood flow.

-Micro-Current: Relaxes the muscles to reduce spasm and referral pain. Decreases lactic acid buildup and encourages healthy nerve stimulation.

-Cold Laser: Decreases pain and inflammation and accelerates healing muscle and joint tissue 25-35% faster than normal. Re-connects the neurological pathways to the brainstem, leading to a reduction in pain.

-Trigger point Injections/Dry Needling: Involves the use of a small needle and anesthetic to bring an immediate reduction in pain or to help areas resistant to the non-invasive forms of therapy.

-Botox: Given to help prevent or reduce the incidence of migraine headaches. It injected into the muscles that frequently are at the root of headaches and facial pain. By weakening the strength of the muscles, headaches resulting from the muscle group are reduced.
